Today we are entering a rare cosmic event. Earth is experiencing a full moon that is a total lunar eclipse.
Lunar eclipses can be highly transformative, and this one especially will highlight what in your life does not serve your greatest good.
Think about how you have been brought up to view things, and ask yourself if that is in alignment with you presently.
We have all been conditioned by our upbringings and society to view things from a slightly skewed perspective.
In adulthood, you may realize that these views hold you back. For instance, the view I am working on letting go of during this lunar eclipse is that I need to be a “good girl”.
I believe that this ancient mindset does not serve me in adulthood, but I was conditioned to believe it for many years.
It led me to put everyone’s needs before my own, which I eventually paid for in burnout. This powerful eclipse gives you an opportunity to break generational or societal patterns that hold you back. And, as the light from the moon is brought into darkness, we too will go dark and deal with our shadows, eventually being brought back to our own light.
The good news is that this Blood Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse is in the sign of Taurus. Taurus’ are represented by the Bull, and are sturdy, steady, and grounded. And no astrological sign is better at self-care than Taurus. This is because they are ruled by the planet Venus, which is ruled by love. They value their creature comforts and material goods. But, if you want to find yourself in this nurturing place of compassion, you need to work through what is standing in your way.
